Budget Analyst

**Duties**: The following are the duties of this position at the GS-. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Budget Analyst, you will: - Formulate, justify, and monitor internal budgets for Bureau components. - Track FTE's and funding commitments by object class in relation to budgeted amounts. - Review, control, and report on obligations and expenditures. - Design various software programs as a means of analyzing and presenting data to be used in budget submissions and management requests for information. - Prepare budget related documents for signature of the Budget Officer, Chief, Office of Financial Management, or others. **Requirements**: **Conditions of Employment**: The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
