About the role

**What you need to know**:
To lead auto underwriting and product management of the Profit Center’s business including:
Assist PCM to manage AIG’s underwriting processes and procedures in compliance to the SME Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite.
Independently underwrite risks and structure complex programs received from key distributions.
Conduct underwriting trainings to Distribution team, agents and brokers.
Be the first referral point for the junior underwriters.
Be the source of ideas of system/ underwriting improvement projects.

**What we’re looking for**:
Possess recognized insurance qualification and/or relevant tertiary degree from a recognized institution
An extensive proven background in SME underwriting and product management
Experience in the Singapore market
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with an ability to challenge, adapt to change and deal with ambiguity.
