What are your responsibilities?Develop and oversee a credit risk management framework for the company. Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of risk performance. Evaluate risk for Asian suppliers and international buyers. Enhance underwriting quality and efficiency using technology and alternative data. Actively manage credit risk for a designated portfolio. Assess risks and monitor counterparties. Support business growth with risk mitigation strategies aligned with company policies. Identify external data sources of other countries to improve models. Collaborate with external stakeholders like funding partners and insurers. Ensure alignment with the risk framework for effective asset distribution. Deliver comprehensive risk reports at portfolio and country levels. Handle specific projects as needed. Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve goals. What skills/qualifications will you need?Bachelor's degree in accounting, statistics, math, computer science, finance, economics, or a related field. Over 7 years of credit underwriting experience in financial institutions or fintech, focusing on SMEs. Preferred experience in cross-border trade finance, receivable finance, factoring, credit insurance, supply chain solutions, or SME coverage. Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach. Independent, self-motivated, and resilient under pressure. Quick learner with a team-oriented mindset, adaptable to diverse cultures. Ability to communicate in business English and Chinese is a plus.
