Overview:
As a Manager (Commercial), you ensure compliance with the financial requirements of several key client relationships, and to provide critical support to the Business Leads and agency partners in their efforts to maximize revenue and contribution profit across the client relationships. You work in close collaboration with client-facing teams, and both local and regional finance teams, and are responsible for managing and coaching a team of direct and indirect reports.
**Responsibilities**:
**Being a business advisor**
- Oversee and manage financial accounts including financial reporting to Local and Regional HQ
- Management of monthly financial reporting, balance sheet schedules, revenue trackers, WIP (work-in progress) reporting, Budgets and Quarterly Forecasts.
- Analytical Review - prepare financial analysis on the health of the business in line with Ogilvy metrics, including providing insights on the trends and actions required, plus ideas for improvement.
- Providing monthly commentary to management on the business’s financial position.
- Monitoring profitability of your Mega Business Client Groups monthly, reporting quarterly, including both preparing the analysis, and providing insights on the information it shows, to drive profit margin improvement and efficient resource-to-revenue ratios.
- Preparing Budgets, Quarterly Forecast and Resource Planning
- Providing commercial support through a review of client, vendor contracts and liaising with agency and client legal representatives.
- Participate in fee negotiations and pricing decisions, in conjunction with CFO/Commercial leads, to ensure that we are being remunerated appropriately.
- Ensuring that Net Working Capital and Aged Debtors ratios are kept within targets.
- Liaison with auditors (external and internal), corporate secretary, bankers and legal teams, where required.
- Responsible for enforcing agency’s internal control policy to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley Requirements and adhere to WPP Internal Control Policies
Qualifications:

- Approx 8-15 years experience
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Strong analytical / writing skills
- Articulate and persuasive
- Manage & motivate a team
- Sound accounting & statutory knowledge
- Committed to solving issues & driving projects to conclusion.
