Sales Director - Data Protection Solutions

What you’ll achieve
The Sales Director of Data Protection Solutions in South East Asia is a customer focused, results oriented, people leader focused on continued growth across Dell Technologies' Data Protection Solutions portfolio. They will lead, steer and scale Dell Technologies’ Data Protection Solutions business ensuring that sales, pre-sales, marketing, partner and business operations effectively team and collaborate to maximize the outcomes for our customers and the opportunities for Dell Technologies. This role represents a unique opportunity to play a major part in the success of Dell Technologies’ Data Protection Solutions business as a whole. We are therefore seeking an exceptional leader who will thrive in an environment that requires innovative thinking, collaboration in every interaction, a maniacal focus on creating customer value, and a passion for team success. This role is supported by Dell Technologies’ extensive Partner and Account teams so that we work in partnership to create, drive and enable modern Data Protection adoption across the region.
You will:
- Drive market share growth for Data Protection Solutions across all market segments through a highly leveraged model.
- Develop strategies to promote thought leadership and valuable insight into the market.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Define & implement the GTM strategy for each sector of this market-leading business.
- Retain, recruit and develop a world class sales team.
- Acts as a business partner with corporate functions.
- Engage with Data Protection leaders and other Dell Technologies stakeholders to align on business goals and achieve business results.
- Lead by example, create and sustain a performance-driven culture, built on integrity, teamwork, and customer focus.

About you
Leading a Data Protection field sales team, you understand data protection & cyber resilience, the competitive landscape, technology trends and how to lead an innovative, collaborative, high performance sales team. You are passionate about the value organisations need to place on data and the value that protecting that data provides to an organisations brand, reputation and viability to its customers. As well as the required passion and skills, you have a consistent track record in developing high performing teams, identifying opportunities for business growth and creating compelling, valuable outcomes with the value of data at the heart of everything you do. You are a strong advocate for customer and partner engagement that leads by example.
Essential Requirements
- Proven track record of growing technology businesses with experience growing software and subscription license businesses.
- Strong business management skills in managing the region’s forecasts, pipeline and opportunities.
- C-Level Exposure and contact base with customers and partners in SEA; Customer and partner focused with a flexible, adaptable and versatile approach. Able to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Builds strong internal relationships with peers and teams within Dell Technologies, while effectively balancing regional team goals with corporate goals.
- People management experience, incl. hiring and developing a diverse and effective workforce. Possess training, mentoring and coaching skills.
