**Company Introduction**
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients They are currently looking for a skilled Aladdin Programme Director to lead and drive major initiatives involving the enhancement and integration of the Aladdin platform across front and middle office functions.
Based in Singapore, the role will include occasional travel within Asia-Pacific to engage stakeholders and support programme delivery.
**Job Responsibilities/Objectives**
- Programme Leadership: Deliver end-to-end management of large-scale Aladdin-related programmes across front and middle office domains. Ensure successful execution of outsourcing, platform integration, and operational model transformation.
- Outsourcing Coordination: Lead the outsourcing of middle-office/investment operations functions, collaborating with third-party service providers, internal operations teams, and compliance to design and implement an effective and compliant operating model.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong working relationships with front-office professionals (traders, portfolio managers), investment operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure continuous alignment and stakeholder buy-in.
- Requirements & Delivery Oversight: Work with business analysts and SMEs to define business and functional requirements, ensuring successful solution design and configuration within Aladdin.
- Operational Efficiency & Process Redesign: Drive process re-engineering and automation opportunities across trade flow, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting - particularly in outsourced environments.
- Testing & Integration Governance: Oversee full-cycle testing activities, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness, ensuring robust, compliant solutions.
- Change Management & Adoption: Design and implement training, communications, and change management strategies to support adoption of Aladdin tools and outsourced models across APAC teams.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting key risks, dependencies, milestones, and benefit realisation.
**Required Skills/Experience**
- Aladdin Platform Expertise: Proven delivery experience on Aladdin (BlackRock), particularly front-office modules such as order management, risk analytics, and portfolio construction.
- Outsourced Middle Office Experience: Direct experience leading middle-office outsourcing projects (to custodians or service providers), including oversight of service migration, SLA governance, and TOM redesign.
- Investment Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of investment operations including trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, cash management, and NAV oversight.
- Programme Delivery: Demonstrated ability to lead complex programmes across business and technology functions, using structured methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Skilled in managing virtual teams across geographies and functions with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of global and APAC-specific regulations impacting investment operations and front-office platforms.
**Desirable Skills/Experience**
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
- Familiarity with other platforms (e.g., SimCorp, Charles River, eFront, Calypso)
- Exposure to outsourcing contracts, KPIs/SLAs, and third-party risk management
- Knowledge of IBOR/ABOR, performance analytics, and APAC market-specific trading flows
- Experience with SQL or BI tools for data validation and operational analytics
