**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set objectives and target for staff
- Assess development needs. To train, supervise and motivate all bar personnel and correct deviations whenever the need arises
- Develop basic operating standards for beverage service
- Determine staff needs and recruit staff
- Delegate duties and tasks to subordinates
- Communicate company policy, standards and procedures
- Direct and manage staff members to meet standards and objectives
- Ensure company policies are followed
- Organize and adjust staff schedules in accordance with available resources and labor regulations
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages to meet set standards
- Resolve customer complaints promptly
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene, as well as order supplies
- Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety and hygiene standards and regulations
- Oversee accurate cash-up procedures necessary paperwork
- Ensure adherence to cash management procedures and stock control procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and sales representative
- Ensure all deliveries and documents are checked in correctly
- Check stock is correctly rotated and stored to reduce wastage
- Oversee the bar display to maximize functionality and attractiveness
- Set, monitor and control budget for the beverage unit/bar
- Implement improvements for products and service
- Maintain regular communication with staff and management through meetings and discussions
- Stay current with relevant legislation regarding service of beverages

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Knowledge of liquor laws and ensure that they are adhered to all times without fail
- Strong performance management and coaching skills
- At least 3 years of management experience
- Good drinks product knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving
- Service orientated
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure and fast paced environment
