Pomelo Pay has offices in Singapore, London and Vietnam and is a fun, dynamic place in which to begin your career. The company is growing rapidly and we offer the chance to work with some of the brightest minds in financial technology as well as international exposure and travel opportunities.

The organisation focuses on mobile payment technologies and we turn merchants’ smartphones into a point-of-sale machine using our proprietary app. No more big, expensive POS machines but an app that merchants can download and start accepting payments.

With over 50% of businesses not accepting some form of mobile payments, Pomelo Pay is aiming to bring all businesses into the cashless society using the latest and most innovative mobile technologies. Pomelo Pay is currently experiencing fast growth both within Europe and Asia and is looking to expand further into these regions in the coming months.

**About the Role**

We want to groom ambitious and bright individuals in the Fintech Space who are keen to learn about the payments industry both in Europe and ASEAN. You will embark on an 18 months graduate trainee programme and we will ensure that you gain the technical skills and competencies required for a successful career in Fintech. You will be mentored by industry leaders from the Marketing, Business Development and Partnerships departments.

**After completing this graduate trainee programme, you will gain the following technical skills and competencies**:

- Overview of the business department
- Business experience and international exposure in a high-growth startup
- Insights into the Fintech and payments space both in Europe and ASEAN
- Adopt an innovative and customer-centric mindset
- Grow your network and get international exposure

**Teams you will be learning from during the program**:
**Business Development**:
Here in the BD team, we connect our business to banks, financial institutions and merchants. We keep the business running by constantly bringing in new clients and projects, spanning across continents and industries. Our BD team gets to experience the highs of closing lucrative deals and surpassing expectations. You will have the opportunity to travel and form close working relationships with our clients and customers.

**Partnerships**:
Our partnerships team collaborates with other fintechs and companies to further elevate our ecosystem. With these long-term partnerships, we build alliances that will strengthen our company’s foothold globally, enhance our product offerings and increase revenue for our clients. You will get to meet business partners from across the globe, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and elevating each other’s solutions.

**Marketing**:
The marketing team owns the branding and promotion for our company. From visuals, copywriting and content creation, graduate trainees will have the creative freedom to pitch and bring their ideas to life. We design anything and everything internally, from the website and LinkedIn content, to our greeting cards for clients. What the world sees from Pomelo, you will be part of it

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management
- Proficient in MS office
- Willing to travel (if any)
- Training provided, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
