What You Will Do In Your Role

Position Overview:
The Lead, HR Compliance resource will take direction from the HR Compliance Leveraged Capability (HRCLC) regional manager and is responsible for leading and managing enterprise-wide HR Compliance activities for assigned countries: monitor emerging issues in employment & labor laws and HR & Selection best practices, identify and lead policy and procedure updates and harmonization projects, provide consultation and guidance on HR Compliance, and knowledge share HR best practices. The role will work collaboratively with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal, other HR capabilities and HR operations teams, and the global HRCLC team.

Essential Functions:

- Monitors, analyzes, and assesses risk on emerging topics in employment and labor laws; collaborates with HR to update policies/practices.
- Identifies and communicates HR and Selection process best practices.
- Identifies opportunities to update and harmonize HR policies and documents, in partnership with HR.
- Partners with key stakeholders in the transformation of HR service delivery model.
- Provides project support and consultation, leveraging HR compliance knowledge.
- Identifies needs and develop tools and resources to increase HR compliance.
- Seeks and implements continuous improvement opportunities.
- Participates in internal employment and labor audits; leverages findings to improve HR compliance and share best practices.

The Experience You Will Bring

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree/college degree
- 7+ years of experience in HR with progressively increased responsibilities in Southeast Asia, or 3+ years employment and labor experience
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills
- Critical thinking ability. Ability to understand and analyze employment laws for applicability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop positive and collaborate relationships.
- Ability to articulate issues and develop a point of view using a risk-based approach; ability to influence.
- Ability to provide effective ideas and solutions to solving HR Compliance challenges.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to successfully balance HRCLC projects and timelines.
- Travel requirement
- approximately 10% within Asia-Pacific
