As we gear up to unveil the Art Works Gallery, we are on the lookout for an passionate, enthusiastic and hardworking gallery assistant with an outgoing personality to support the day to day activities of the gallery.

**Job Purpose**

The Gallery Assistant is a key team member who supports the daily operations of the gallery, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for clients and staff. This role involves a blend of administrative support, client interaction, and operational assistance to uphold the gallery's reputation for excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Client Service: Greet visitors and provide them with a welcoming and informative gallery experience.
- Administrative Support: Assist with daily administrative tasks, including answering phones, managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
- Operational Assistance: Support the Gallery Manager and Sales Executives with operational tasks such as inventory management, artwork labelling, cataloguing and preparation for exhibitions.
- Sales Support: Aid in the sales process by providing information to clients, processing transactions, and assisting with after-sales service.
- Exhibition Setup: Help with the installation and dismantling of exhibitions, ensuring that artworks are handled and displayed properly.
- Gallery Maintenance: Ensure that the gallery space is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Event Assistance: Provide support during gallery events, openings, and other special occasions.

**Requirements**:

- A keen interest in the arts and a desire to learn about gallery operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
