NORD/LB’s Structured Finance team is positioned as one of the Top 5 global players in renewable energy

project finance. A pioneer in the renewable energy sector, NORD/LB has a track record of financing over

40GW worldwide, including 4.2GW across the APAC region.

The global unit provides Project and Structured Finance solutions for our clients, and seeks to build lasting

relationships in our core sectors of Renewable Energy, Social and Digital Infrastructure and Sustainable

Transport, with a strong focus on enabling positive ESG impact projects. The regional coverage for our

APAC team includes, amongst others: Australia, Japan, Taiwan, India and South East Asia.

The team is client facing and is both the interface between the external market and the source of new business

opportunities for the bank. The role will be based in Singapore as part of a team covering the APAC

region, and reporting to the Head of Structured Finance for APAC.
- Originate new clients and maintain current network of client and advisor relationships across the APAC region, with particular focus on Australian renewable energy and storage.
- Marketing, pitching, negotiating and securing project finance mandates in line with the banks strategy and risk appetite.
- Development of the sector business strategy, promoting and enhancing Structured Finance's market offering through specific product or structural innovation and leadership.
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders on new transactions, including Risk, Distribution, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Legal, Treasury and Financial Market Sales.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Branch AML and Compliance Handbooks and other job relevant policies.
- Assist in the management, training and personal development of more junior team members.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant academic background, including Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Finance, Science, Engineering or Legal field.
- Minimum of 8 years prior experience in financial services / banking with specialist knowledge in non-recourse project finance and ideally renewable energy projects.
- Specific to this role: familiarity and existing relationships with current and prospective NORD/LB clients in the Australian NEM.
- Excellent client facing, communication and commercial skills.
- A team player who is flexible and can maintain a positive attitud in a time-sensitive transaction driven environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel, mainly in APAC.
- Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Fluent in English
