**Role Purpose**
The role of Strategy Manager will be to develop the corporate strategy together with the Senior Management Team and communicate this to the Board of Directors, the Swire Bulk Organisation, and customers. This role will require strong communication, research, and analytical skills.
**Role Accountabilities**

- Develop the corporate strategy together with the Senior Management Team and communicate this to the Board of Directors, the Swire Bulk Organisation, and customers.
- Produce Strategy documents including quarterly Board Paper materials, business case reviews for new business opportunities, asset sales / acquisitions, and other ad-hoc papers according to business need.
- Analyze the market fundamentals of the dry bulk shipping markets to communicate the market outlook which informs longer-term strategic decisions.
- Assess and benchmark Swire Bulk performance compared to competitors.
- Act as Project Manager to lead, track, and coordinate various internal projects and workflows across multiple departments.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on various topics - including corporate strategy, market fundamentals, and the dry bulk competitive landscape - to the Swire Bulk organisation and external audiences including customers.
**Key Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in strategic roles including Consulting, Finance, or Industry roles
- Prior experience in a similar role will be advantageous with good understanding of bulk shipping market.
- Strong analytical skills with sharp commercial and financial acumen. Good grasp of financial metrics and ability to interpret financial results and transaction metrics.
- Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- As a strategic thinker, able to comfortably come up with successful plans of action and often bring new points of view to the discussions.
- A good team player and leader who collaborates naturally and effectively with others to bring about successful team outcomes
