**About the job**

The global procurement team is responsible to frame and establish organization wide policies and procedures, leading high value sourcing assignments, strengthening procurement operations and compliance in 5 counties including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines & Mexico. Our mission is to enhance organization competitive edge by facilitating “visible, controllable and deliverable” procurement practices and solutions.

The Procurement Manager is responsible to support the Head of Procurement in planning and implementation of overall department strategy and business plans. They are also responsible to secure policy governance, process control and compliance.

**Your assignment**
- You will be managing or supervising high-value sourcing and commercial activities for sub-indirect categories such as facility management, marketing, travel, and other external consultancies.
- You will be implementing and giving trainings on procurement guidelines and practices to drive business with higher efficiency and lower costs.
- You will be providing operational and advisory support to business functions on most efficient and effective way for their procurement activities.
- You will be supporting implementation of procure to pay system and processes, to streamline purchase cycle.

You will be coordinating within procurement and few business functions to steer forward our supplier code of conduct (IWAY), ensuring suppliers' adherence to ethical, social, and environmental compliance in their business operations.

**Qualifications**:
**Your profile**
- You have an indirect procurement background and familiar with daily activities of sourcing manager.
- You have strong commercial negotiation skills and ability to monitor important industry and market insights.
- You understand procurement systems and able to drive process improvements.
- You have ability to manage variable workloads and prioritize tasks.
- You are fluent in English and proficient in Microsoft office suite.
- Prior experience or exposure to IKEA sourcing and social compliance will get an added advantage.
