Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role working with digital and online advertising products and solutions.
- Experience in the music industry or in digital media.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working on complex projects involving marketing metrics, consulting, big data or media.
- Knowledge of and passion for Google’s product suite of video ad solutions (with a strong focus on YouTube).
- Ability to work autonomously with experience in reporting remotely to manager.
- Effective presentation and data visualization skills.
- Effective relationship and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous solutions, supported by internal teams.

As a Sales Consultant, you will be on the Sales team that is helping music labels to promote artists through Google and YouTube advertising. We grow labels and artists online, building successful careers for artists and songwriters and business models for the music industry on YouTube. You will be responsible for providing ongoing business development and relationship management to our label partners. You will interact regularly with counterparts at music labels but also collaborate closely with internal teams.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide operational consulting on Google advertising solutions for the music industry.
- Work cross-functionally with internal Google teams and external client stakeholders, building rapport and working with partners on A&B level, and manage internal stakeholders, coordinating with various internal teams (Label Relations Team, YouTube Partnerships, Specialists, gTech, Go-To-Market, Ads Policy Team, and other Large Customer Sales pods).
- Develop both industry-specific and general market analysis to deliver value concerning market trends, auction dynamics, and other data-driven analyses.
- Engage in competitive pitching that include media activation, insight generation and analysis, as well as campaign upselling.
- Provide expertise on all things video advertising, as well as display and search, and be on the forefront of everything related to music with a great sense of humor.
