Reporting to the Manager, Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for the financial operations, budgeting and compliance functions.
Handle the budgeting and forecasting processes including review of budget utilization and virement requests.
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly cash flow forecast report.
In-charge of the accuracy of items classified as inventory as per the financial policy.
Prepare for GST submission on a quarterly basis and GST reconciliation after financial year-end audit completion.
Involve in month-end and year-end accounts closing, by carrying out accounts reconciliation, preparing accruals and prepayment schedule, and preparing adjustment entries.
Help monitor Accounts Payable staff to ensure that due dates of vendor invoices and payable subsidies are tracked and that proper payment planning is carried out for payments to be made by due dates stipulated.
Manage and guide Accounts Payable staff on daily operational matters as well as review work carried out and ensure transaction accuracy, completeness and that processes are done correctly.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports for Management review.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly management reports for Council review.
Assist the Manager, Finance in various day-to-day work, projects and assignments.
Liaising with internal and external auditors on all audit matters.
Play a pro-active role in promoting a strong compliance culture with financial policies and procedures, in line with the regulations stipulated by Institution of Public Character (IPC) and the governing body, Sport Singapore.
Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong financial analytical skills.
Able to multi-task, balance priorities and work under pressure.
Able to work independently and a good team player.

Bachelors Degree
