The Head of Data & Analytics is a leader within the business overseeing all activities of the data analytics, tracking, personalisation and data warehousing.
- Responsible for setting the departmental vision and culture and championing for the use of data in making key business decisions.
- In charge of driving the day-to-day analytical approaches and exploring solutions to particular problems.
- Additionally defines the business questions that need be answered and defines appropriate analytics models in addition to identifying and readying relevant data sources for analysis.
- Takes initiative in developing a training programs meant for improving the clients’ understanding of the use of data, which improves decision-making across their businesses.
- Play a mentorship role to key data analytics personnel, constantly honing their professional skills, and preparing them for the occupation of his position in future.
- Plays a leading strategic role where he leads data analytics in strategy development with regard to the collection, manipulation, and analysis of data for various clients and functions
- Endeavors to create new data-driven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, information visualization, and addressing unanswered business issues in a proactive manner.
- Play an analytical role where he develops and applies analytical algorithms and methods where possible with a view of driving and enhancing data systems and streamlining business processes.
- Strives to improve the quality of analytics solutions on a consistent basis.
- Validate, interpret, and create reports and presentations for senior data analytics management,departmental heads/management, and relevant stakeholders.
- Enhance the Data and Analytics product at GrowthOps and increase revenue from Data and Analytics services
- Integrate ad ops and tracking for better performance media attribution and audience segmentation
- Build innovation into our solutions and services

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s/Postgraduate/Professional/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in a client-facing/technical solutions consulting role OR in a data analytics or data science role.
- Data analytics related skills is a must. (Python, SQL, etc.)
- Understanding in data management and storage will be added advantage.
- Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to business and technical audiences.
