**What the role is**
- The Section Manager oversees the daily operations in the provision of HR, Learning and Sponsorship Administration services to Public Service Agencies - VITAL’s Service Partners.
The Section Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the team, ensuring that work requests are processed promptly and accurately, and partnering agencies and external partners to resolve service issues and improve processes.
**What you will be working on**
- Manage and oversee work activities performed by the team, to achieve prompt and accurate service delivery to the Service Partners.
- Plan and implement learning and development activities of officers in the team to ensure they possess the required competencies to carry out their work.
- Carry out process reviews and improvements to achieve better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify risks and enhance controls to mitigate against risks.
- Be responsive to the needs and queries of Service Partners and other stakeholders.
- Plan and incorporate new policy and system requirements into existing processes as Process Deskhead, including revising training materials and SOPs for officers.
- Work with Service Partners to assess business requirements, plan and carry out service commencement or transition.
- Engage and manage external training providers to provide courses to Public Officers via the HR and Payroll system.
- Provide necessary guidance and supervision to the team of officers.

- Experience in process improvement is beneficial
