We're hiring an experienced chef for our hawker center kitchen team. The job is straightforward - you'll be cooking noodles. We're looking for someone skilled in noodle preparation. Anyone can cook our food; it's as simple as cooking noodles and pouring the sauce and soup. That's it We need someone who can handle this process with expertise.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Cooking Excellence**:Prepare and cook, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
- **Order Management**:Take customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietary preferences or restrictions.
- **Menu Development**:Contribute to the development of new menu items, ensuring innovation and alignment with customer preferences.
- **Kitchen Supervision**:Oversee kitchen operations to maintain cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate and execute orders seamlessly.
- **Quality Control**:Monitor food inventory and ensure the freshness of ingredients; actively participate in quality control procedures.
- **Adaptability**:Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Requirements**:
- **Proven Experience**:A minimum of 1 to2 years of experience working as a chef.
- **Culinary Expertise**:Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes.
- **Order Taking Skills**:Ability to interact with customers and take orders while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- **Team Player**:Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- **Adaptability**:Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
- **Organizational Skills**:Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
