Director, IT Assurance

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is a leading subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), responsible for operating the National Authentication Framework (NAF) and National Certification Authority (NCA) in Singapore. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join us in the role of Director, IT Assurance. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to enhance Singapore's competitiveness as a trusted ICT hub for citizens and businesses.

**A brief summary of your job responsibility**:

- Provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of the IT Assurance function within ATS.
- Develop and implement IT assurance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage a team of IT audit professionals to conduct independent assessments of the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems.
- Deliver timely and high-quality IT assurance reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, compliance, and legal departments, to drive continuous improvement in IT governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory requirements to proactively identify areas for improvement and respond effectively to changes in the IT risk landscape.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on IT risk and assurance matters.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the IT Assurance team, promoting professional growth and expertise in IT audit and assurance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and industry peers.

**Requirements**:
**To succeed in this role, you will ideally have**:

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or a related field, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to IT risk and compliance, particularly in the financial services or government sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing IT assurance strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in managing and conducting IT audits, risk assessments, and control evaluations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive mindset and ability to drive change and innovation.
