Caterpillar currently has an opportunity for a **Transportation Analyst (1-year Cat Contract) **in Singapore. The position is part of the Asia Pacific Parts Transportation team supporting the logistics engineering scope for end to end inbound, outbound, and local delivery of Caterpillar subsidiaries.

**What You Will Do**:

- Secondary operations lead for Asia Distribution Center (ADC) Transportation Operations, supporting the main lead from time to time
- Validate service providers' Invoice for billing accuracy in compliance to the SOX control processes - This includes Air & Ocean Import, Export, domestic road, cross border shipments for ADC Singapore
- Communicate with service providers on invoice grief and follow up to close the grief within the KPI standard
- Maintain service providers invoice grief list
- Maintain rates repository and ensure rates are up to date
- Follow up on Credit/ Debit notes to be recovered from service providers
- Submission of approved invoices to APSS on time for payment to service providers
- Update service providers with their invoice status as and when the query is received
- Checking TR Forms and updating the TR Inventory List
- Maintain and submit Invoicing billing and accuracy KPI and drive RCCA on Red KPIs relating to any invoicing discrepancies and gaps
- Gather and analyze data on transportation suppliers billing performance and variability, and work on PQVC projects through LEAN methodology
- LEAN projects related to invoicing audit improvements
- Manage ADC Singapore freight Payable processes, accrual, and forecasting
- Work with Procurement team to support ADC spot rate requests

**What You Have**:
Industry Experience:

- Experience in and/or equivalent knowledge of various Operating, Transportation, Contracting, and Traffic in Supply Chain, Logistics.

Analytical Skills:

- Well-versed in IT systems such as Power BI, Tableau. BOBJ, SAP will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Communication Skills:

- Effectively communicate with all levels of personnel both inside and outside the Company
- Well organized, self-motivated, disciplined and can multitask against multiple deadlines.
