**WSH OFFICER**

(a) To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace to identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes therein;
(b) To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other in charge of the workplace reasonably practicable measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at work in that workplace or may be affected by the occupier’s undertaking in the workplace;
(c) To recommend to the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace where it is not reasonably practicable measures, to minimize the risk, and safe work procedures to control the risk;
(d) To assist the occupier of the workplace or other person in charge of the workplace implements the measure or safe work procedures;
(e) To investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
(f) To work closely with the relevant authorities (e.g. Ministry of Manpower/ Occupational Safety and Health Division, LTA, PUB, NEA) on safety and health matters;
(g) To administer and implement an effective Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) in accordance with prevailing legislation and preparation for third-party external safety audit;
(h) Conduct Environmental, Health and Safety Audits as per OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 requirements;
(i) Making certain that all ordinances or orders bearing on occupational safety and health and environmental are complied with local laws;
(j) To prepare and conduct the EHS training for all employees which are identified in RA and SWP;
(k) Measure and monitor the WSH performance of the project and discuss WSH performance in the WHS committee meetings;
(l) Attending construction site(customers) safety meeting;
(m) To assist construction site safety personnel for any incident or violation due to mixer truck;
(n) To attend Group EHS safety meeting (monthly);
(o) To conduct safety meeting for plant personnel regarding safety news, incident, truck. incident, etc;
(p) To review Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) and update if there is any new. regulations or amendment;
(q) To assist other departments (internal), for inspection, audits or any other matter to the.workplace

Requirement:

- Possess at least a Specialist Diploma in WSH and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace safety and health (WSH) or related
- MOM registered WSH Officer with Level C Certificate in WSH
- At least 3 years of work experience relevant as a WSH Officer

**Salary**: $3,800.00 - $6,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Postgraduate Diploma/Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- WSH Officer: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Certified WSH Officer (preferred)
