**Job Scope**:

- Formulate and manage the WSH policy and guidelines, Risk Management Plans, ensuring these conform to the client’s requirements and industry best practice.
- Identify and manage risks and hazards for solar PV installation, MEP works and general construction activities.
- Develop and maintain site-specific documentation and templates that include the Safety Program File (WSH Safe Work Procedures, SOPs).
- Conduct Risk assessment based on work activities, Fall Prevention Plans, Emergency Response Plans, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Site Induction.
- Manage the effective implementation of appropriate WSH management system procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in legislation and the customer’s directive for multisite of Solar PV projects and other construction projects.
- Conduct Safety Committee Meetings.
- Participates in WSH related discussions at Site toolbox meetings, Contractor meetings, Client Weekly/Monthly Meetings.
- Assist, deliver and organize WSH training to employees and contractors.
- Coordinate with project team and contractor to assist and enhance their WSH competency and delivery.
- Perform WSH internal & external audits and inspect on project construction and operation sites to verify consistency with WSH procedures, client requirements, regulatory requirements and, contractor WSH plan.
- Coordinates and assists Site Engineer with Incident Investigations to determine Root Cause and recommend appropriate Corrective Actions and Preventive Action.
- Maintain and update all WSH records, certifications, e.g. ISO 45001 and BizSAFE Star, and reports in accordance with WSH legislation

Perform WSH tasks and other duties as required.

**Requirements:
- Must possess WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) qualification or equivalent
- Must be a registered WSH Officer with Ministry of Manpower
- Min 3 years’ experience as WSH Officer
- Experience in solar industry is preferred
- Independent and able to work in a team
- Good knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Good communication skills
