**Manager, External Affairs [LKCMedicine]**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Planning and implementing external relations activities with existing and potential collaborators - regional and international
- Evaluates external relations activities including management of outcomes arising from joint-symposiums and research collaborative proposals/agreements
- Coordinates and manages visits and outreach activities to and by external strategic partners for the Office of External Affairs
- Analyses and interprets international policies, issues and legislation, as well as the activities of governments, businesses, and higher education institutions overseas and domestically
- Identifies, collates and analyses international outreach data from relevant units within the school, prepares analysis reports as assigned
- Initiate, manage, report and archive communication with external organisations
- Initiate, conduct, monitor, and analyse feedback post-activity, where relevant
- Provide secretariat support for External Affairs activities
- Work in close consult with internal stakeholders for the coordination of such activities

**Key Requirements**:

- Degree in Events and PR, International Relations or its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of external relations or stakeholder engagement experience
- Prior experience in PR or International Relations for medicine and healthcare, or education is an added advantage
- Possess excellent planning skills, organisational skills, communication skills, writing skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to details with the ability to work in a team and work well under pressure
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

This is a 3-year contract position.
