As the Head of Cyber Security, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the organization's cybersecurity strategy, policies, and operations. Your primary objective will be to protect the company's information systems, data, and assets from potential cyber threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information. You will be a key player in safeguarding the company's reputation, customer trust, and compliance with relevant regulations.**Key Responsibilities**:
Cybersecurity Strategy and Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with the organization's goals and risk appetite.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk management.
- Collaborate with other departments and senior management to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are integrated into business processes and projects.

Security Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, incident response, and threat hunting activities.
- Manage security incidents and breaches, leading response efforts to minimize impact and recover operations swiftly.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the threat landscape, emerging cyber threats, and industry best practices.

Information Security Governance and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure a consistent and robust security posture across the organization.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

Risk Management:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential weaknesses and prioritize risk mitigation efforts.
- Implement and manage security controls to reduce risk to an acceptable level.

Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and execute cybersecurity awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and their role in safeguarding information.
- Provide training to staff on cybersecurity topics, ensuring a knowledgeable and security-conscious workforce.

Vendor Management:
- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors involved in providing cybersecurity services or products.

Security Architecture and Technology:
- Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain secure technology infrastructure and systems.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance the organization's cybersecurity capabilities.

Incident Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders, outlining the state of cybersecurity, ongoing initiatives, and potential risks.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding cybersecurity incidents and risk management activities.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in cybersecurity, with progressive leadership roles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, endpoint security, etc.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
