SUMMARY

SAP Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) department has the purpose to “Deliver and Run the Intelligent Enterprise”, fully aligned with overall SAP’s purpose to “Help the world run better and improve people’s lives”. IES is SAP’s technology backbone and most compelling reference customer, and as such, we influence product development and strategy, with our customer experience at heart.

Furthermore, we build and operate a central chatbot platform based on SAP Conversational AI with the aim to provide capabilities from all lines of business through a single digital assistant. We also build those capabilities (individual chatbots) as well as support other teams in building further ones.
Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model with emphasis on great collaboration, agility and transparency. We offer a lot of room for creativity and freedom to experiment. We recently established our new operating model (OpsModel 2.0) based on autonomous teams and SAP New Work practice where we put people at the centre of everything we do.

ROLE

.Work with a team of AI scientists, MLOps engineers, Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Propose solution architecture and technology stack for new use cases.
- Help to improve current system architecture for existing projects.
- Share knowledge and best practises within the team and beyond.
- Develop the team together by joining the recruiting activities.
- Guide and coach junior developers when needed.
- (Co)-lead new initiatives within our aut

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 8+ years work experience in software development.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented and creative.

Required skills
- Familiar with frontend and backend architecture.
- Microservices and web development with JavaScript and / or Python.
- SAP Cloud Development platforms and tools e.g. BTP, SAC, HANA, PAL, UI5, XSUAA, Cloud Foundry, Cloud Connector, iRPA, CAI, etc.
- Frontend stacks, e.g. HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, JSON, Node, PHP, Ruby on Rails, etc.
- Both SQL and NoSQL database technologies, e.g. HANA, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, SQLServer, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.
- Python backend development, e.g. Flask, Django, FastAPI, OpenAPI.
- DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, (for internal offering: XMake, Hyperspace)).
- Development tools e.g. Jupyter, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Github, etc.
- Basic knowledge about AI / ML concepts.

Preferred skills
- Basic understanding of AI / ML concepts and the ML Lifecycle.
- Familiar with SAP AI offerings e.g. AI Core etc.
- Developing and/or deploying ML models is beneficial.
- Additional courses and/or certificates and on AI/ML.
- Knowledge in data security and privacy prot
