Cloud Services- Senior Consultant

Job Function: Software & Cloud Services The role:
In this role, you will be accountable for delivering both cloud and on-premise solutions to our clients. Your primary focus will be on project delivery, working collaboratively to understand client business requirements and translating these into integrated solutions. You will design and implement solutions that harness the capabilities of cloud services platforms like Azure and AWS, as well as on-premise technologies such as VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V. A thorough understanding of both cloud services platforms and on-premise technologies, along with their relevant best practices, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and efficient cloud/on-premise solutions
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of cloud/on-premise migration projects.
- Conduct workshops with clients for discovery, assessment and requirement gathering.
- Configure and manage landing zones, including setting up security controls, network configurations, and logging.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost management.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex issues and provide innovative solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and developments in cloud technologies.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of cloud and on-premise technologies, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Network, Subnets, Route Table, Network Security Group, Private endpoints, Azure Firewall, Virtual Machine, AKS (Kubernetes Service), Storage Account, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Server, Azure Migrate, Azure Application Gateway, Azure DNS Private Resolvers, Azure Communication Service, Azure Monitor, Azure Virtual Desktop, VMware ESXi infrastructure component and management solution, including virtual switch, live migration, LUNs and more, Microsoft Hypervisor components and management solution, including but not limited to Hyper-V 2019/2022 version, virtual switch, Failover Clustering, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, Hyper-V Replicas, and more, and understanding of interoperability of VMware and Hyper-V, virtual machine conversion/migration
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex challenges and develop practical, effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining intricate technical details to a diverse audience.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with remote, cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

What we need to see from you:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in delivering cloud-based & on-premise solutions
- Preferred certifications include Azure qualifications such as AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate, AZ-700: Azure Network Engineer Associate, AZ-140: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, AZ-800-AZ-801: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, AZ-305: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Proficiency in AWS technologies is an added advantage.
