**Responsibilities**:

- Creation & co-ordination of the hotel’s master wine / beverage list with a focus on the brands touch points. Engaging Pacific labels is a clear outline where possible
- Co-ordination with suppliers and purchasing to ensure contractual obligations and sales targets are achieved.
- Assist in the conceptual and operational design of bar and beverage concepts.
- Be an active participant in marketing discussions & decisions to ensure exposure of the restaurants & bars of Sofitel Sentosa Singapore
- Create active strategies to maintain a strong social media capture.
- Overall responsibility of mixology operational components of the division to ensure efficiency and high standards of operations in all restaurants, bars and events.
- Creation and implementation of innovative beverage promotions.
- Create Sofitel Sentosa Singapore online mixology compendium recipe book.
- Responsible for all outlets, (with a primary beverage focus) including catering to ensure a smooth, quality driven and profitable operation.
- Drives high levels of guest satisfaction through the consistent execution of all brand standards, visible operational leadership, active trend analysis and hands-on interaction with guests and associates.
- Create an operational environment of education and empowerment that energizes associates to focus on guest preferences and aspirations, allowing for the creation of memorable guest experiences.
- Continuous focus on employee satisfaction and ensures continuous improvement action plans are executed effectively, and as need, with a focus on a team and succession planning culture.

- Keep ahead of industry trends
- Leading the beverage teams in proper expense and cost control with required services and standards and monitoring the performance of the entire department in this process.
- Has proven ability to engineer costs to achieve profit maximisation without impacting Sofitel Sentosa Singapore Brand Standards or Guest Expectations.
- Ensure continual maintenance of wine and beverage lists in collaboration with purchasing.
- Ensure inventory, requisition, par stocks and control systems are in place to maintain cost control

**Key Job Requirements**
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
