We are looking for a passionate and experienced **Front-of-House Supervisor**to join our team at **Ember**, a modern European woodfire BBQ restaurant known for its immersive forest-like ambiance and refined dining experience.

In this key role, you will lead our front-of-house team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving sales performance, ensuring service excellence, and cultivating a strong culture of hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service during shifts.
- Lead pre-shift briefings, assign roles, and motivate team members with clear goals and expectations.
- Provide expert wine recommendations and pairings, and train the team on our wine list and beverage offerings.
- Drive sales through upselling, guest engagement, and personalized service.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care.
- Monitor floor activity, table turnover, and service standards throughout service.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to coordinate timing and service quality.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new front-of-house team members.
- Assist with inventory checks, stock ordering, and end-of-day reports.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of wine, including pairing principles and wine service etiquette (WSET Level 2 or equivalent preferred).
- Proven track record in sales and upselling techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Calm under pressure, with a solution-oriented and hands-on mindset.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable dining experiences.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
