**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and executing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for baking, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment and tools required for pastry production.
- Decorate pastries, desserts, and cakes using various techniques to enhance their visual appeal.
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and other team members to develop new pastry recipes and menu items.
- Ensure that all pastry items are presented and served in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
- Maintain inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Pastry Chef.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage, labelling, and handling of food items.
- Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients, utensils, and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the overall culinary team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in pastry making, and share knowledge with the team.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- A culinary school certification or a diploma is a plus. Practical experience and basic education will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of pastry production techniques, baking methods, and ingredients.
- Proficiency in creating and decorating a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
