Goodpack is seeking a **Legal & Trade Compliance Associate **to join our global team in Singapore.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
**Trade
Support customs and trade compliance programs and strategic initiatives. This includes,
- Research new rules and regulations on respective importing/exporting countries and consult port authorities, logistic service providers, import agencies and customs authorities to ensure Goodpack and its stakeholders comply with customs and trade regulations
- Identifies compliance risks and supports mitigating actions globally to ensure full compliance with customs, tax, financial, legal and other regulations
- Design programs to optimize duties and other costs within the compliance framework
- Working together with local markets to define and draft SOPs
- Support regions when audited or challenged by (Customs) authorities

**Legal**
- Liaise with members of the legal team, external counsels, vendors and/or counterparties on compliance related work
- Manage contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiating, execution and retention of agreements
- Create and maintain online document and correspondence databases and records retention processes
- Drafting inter-company agreements, resolutions, consents and other transaction documentation
- Providing research assistance. e.g. on legal questions or commercial registries, etc.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelors in Law, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Entry level position with growth opportunity (fresh graduate or recently graduated - any prior experience in legal or trade compliance or general compliance would be a bonus but not a requirement)
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, other languages considered an asset
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and detail oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Interest in working across a variety of jurisdictions with varying seniority levels
- Energetic, collaborative, resilient and motivated by challenges
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed
