**OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT**:
Vantage Operations is responsible for the global day to day operations of the company. Teams reporting to the office of the COO include Site Operations, Development & Engineering, Construction, Operational Compliance, Procurement, Security, and IT/Software Development. Operations coordinates across all teams to design, build, and operate large scale (wholesale) datacenters for hyperscale and enterprise customers. With a focus on customers and a strong leadership team, the demand for our services has created tremendous growth in NAM, Europe, and Africa. Vantage anticipates similar demand in the Asia Pacific region through a combination of organic growth and acquisition.

There is a strong need to coordinate procurement across the Asia Pacific region and take advantage of our ability to use our global buying power to build stronger relationships with our provider partners and negotiate relationships that contribute optimized delivery and pricing terms.

**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Oversee vendor management including supply chain, inventory, strategic replenishment, and financial budgeting/forecasting of key equipment in line with customer/market demand
- Develop procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance speed-to-market and cost savings
- Collaborate with internal customers to negotiate sourcing contracts and service level agreements that are beneficial for the organization
- Provide thought leadership in strategic supply chain management including negotiation with vendors to optimize upfront costs, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and third-party risk management
- Lead the procurement, sourcing, schedule and lead times of all equipment, materials, and services
- Partner with engineering, pre-construction, and construction to yield industry leading costs for major equipment

**DUTIES**:

- Develop and drive processes for inventory management and replenishment of OFCI in line with standardized building blocks. On an as-needed basis, manage procurement of bespoke equipment partnering closely with construction teams and project schedules
- Develop a logistics and supply chain strategy for primary vendors including qualifying 2-3 vendors per type of equipment
- Leverage engineering to identify ways to create global standards where only mínimal accessories are modified based on local requirements; break down supply chain to understand components within the package from each vendor to drive standards for all major components
- Manage procurement entity leveraging the Construction Cost & Finance (CCF) department to ensure all purchases have appropriate cost allocation, tax, freight, etc.
- Negotiate competitive multi-year agreements with primary and secondary vendors as applicable
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and operational requirements
- Examine and test new and existing contract structures (master supplier agreements) in collaboration with the legal department
- Establish yearly inventory budgets, OFCI project budgets, provide monthly cash flow forecasts, review, and approve invoices
- Manage RFIs and RFQs for all construction-related sourcing
- Manage procurement bid process from RFP issuance, to bid leveling and ultimately vendor selection in line with Vantage’s ESG initiatives

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or equivalent required
- 6 years of experience as a procurement manager or officer required 7 to 10 years preferred Data Center or industrial equipment experience
- Aptitude for collecting data, statistical analysis, decision-making, and business acumen
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Strong buying and negotiation expertise
