**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic **Senior Account and Finance Lead**to oversee our financial operations and ensure sound financial management across the business. This role requires strong leadership, **deep financial expertise**, and a hands-on approach to managing both routine and strategic finance functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, internal control/audit, accounting system SOP set, and stakeholder engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Management & Reporting**:

- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, SFRS).
- Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

**Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Lead the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Monitor budget vs actuals and perform variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and cash flow projections.

**Accounts & Compliance**:

- Oversee AP/AR, GL, fixed assets, and inventory accounting.
- Ensure timely tax filings (GST, corporate income tax, etc.) and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and statutory bodies.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory and statutory compliance.

**Leadership & Strategy**:

- Supervise and mentor junior finance or accounts team members.
- Collaborate with department heads to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, or due diligence activities where applicable.

**Systems & Process Improvement**:

- Drive digitalization or automation of finance-related processes.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems or tools to improve reporting efficiency.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA / ACCA / CA qualification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience in e.g., manufacturing, construction.
- Exposure to regional or international finance operations.
- Familiarity with ERP implementation or finance transformation projects.
