**Your day to day**
The Analyst's primary responsibility is conducting analyses relating to crucial business issues and growth needs, using analytical frameworks, modelling and presentation skills, and project planning.

The Development Planning & Performance team is responsible for supporting the Region's growth strategy, driving measurement and execution towards Development objectives, and providing dynamic planning and analytical support to EMEAA's development team. The team collaborates with several functions, including Brands, Hotel Lifecycle & Growth, Investment Analysis, and others, to achieve its objectives.

As Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting critical growth enabling projects and providing Development and Senior Leaders with planning and analytical support to provide insights across critical growth metrics and their impact on growth.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Complete quantitative and qualitative analysis in various growth-related projects at the direction of the Senior Manager/Senior Director
- Create growth analysis & identify trends based on EMEAA competitive landscape performance and provide strategic recommendations to accelerate growth through brands, markets, etc.
- Assist in both regional and Group research and data collection/analysis (as needed) as well as internal databases maintenance
- Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership as needed
- Ad hoc projects at the direction of Senior Manager/Senior Director

**What we need from you** Education**

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Hotel Management, or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

**Experience**
- Two to three (2-3) years of demonstrated ability with analytics and reporting
- Some experience with Salesforce is desirable
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
- Experience in Hospitality Development, Analytics, Strategy, or related fields is desirable

**Technical skills and Knowledge**
- Interest in the hospitality industry with knowledge of market drivers and a basic understanding of the competitive landscape
- Understanding hotel and real estate finance principles is a plus, including a demonstrated ability to analyse and draw conclusions from competitor, statistical and market data
- Knowledge and experience using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other related programs.
- Knowledge of additional analytical tools, e.g., Tableau, is beneficial
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, team player
