Manager, Mixed-use Development and Operations, Asia

The position holds the following responsibilities:

- Development Support - support of Mixed-Use development
- Operations - support residential operations, particularly openings
- Business Analyst - managing a number of global reporting / financial management processes

**Other Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support and leadership to Hub Champions as it relates to mixed-use development, supporting training, learning and development,product knowledge, and deal-making
- Establish close rapport with key clients in order to understand their projects and commercial objectives. Negotiate licensing terms (branded residences) as well as management terms (extended stay and branded residences), leading/supporting the successful execution of related

commercial agreements and the achievement of regional extended stay and branded residential development targets
- Support Hub/Division development management teams and development personnel throughout the deal-making process through the evaluation of new opportunities, development of pitches, negotiating of contracts and generally removing hurdles which need to be overcome in order to achieve objectives
- Support negotiation & development of branded residences, strata-hotel & other mixed-used products, including IP validation
- Ensure alignment of key stakeholders, securing support for viable projects
- Maintain on-going alignment with Regional Head of Mixed-Use regarding development strategy and opportunities
- Ensure completion of legal due diligence questionnaire by development partners
- Ensure market studies are completed prior to execution of binding agreements, and funded whenever possible by development partners
- Review MOU terms prior to issuance and execution
- Cultivate relationships with residential and mixed-use developers, as well as relevant consultancies and intermediaries
- Support Opening of new branded residences Projects
- Support in efforts to recruit Director of Residences for standalone

projects / support recruitment of Director of Residences for mixed use projects
- Participate in Hub pre-opening teams where residential forms part of mixed-use project
- Ensure project specific SOPs are defined

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor degree
- At least 7 years' experience in similar role
- Strong organizational capabilities with past P&L responsibility/direct support
- A strong background in branded residential development and hospitality is essential, with deep understanding of mixed-use development and operations (including past experience working with homeowner associations, body corporates and managing governance processes)
- Excellent leadership capabilities and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to align complex andfrequently divergent stakeholder interests
- The confidence and presence to lead and successfully negotiate commercial agreements with the head and/or senior leadership teams of major companies
- Provide operational leadership experience
- Excellent financial management skillset - knowledge of hotel accounting, hotel management, financial modelling, residential development, branded residential management, hotel brands and ability to understand legal documents

- Strong analysis, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
