Formerly known as Bukit Ho Swee Family Service Centre, **South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCC)**provides support to the low-income and vulnerable families in our community. **About the role of Director, People and Shared Corporate Services**
We seek a dynamic and strong capable leader who can independently drive and manage the entire spectrum of HR, shared services (digital/IT strategy and communications), and corporate functions. The Director of People and Shared Corporate Services is responsible for driving talent management strategies, overseeing HR operations, administering shared and corporate services strategy, and ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards. This role also involves preparing manpower annual budgets, providing strategic framework insights, and collaborating with the board and senior leadership to align HR, digital/communication and operational strategies with organizational goals. Having a hands-on approach with strong operational experience would be advantageous.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.**Strategic Leadership**
- Drive, lead, develop and implement integrated strategies for HR, Admin/Operational, and IT shared functions to achieve organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and leadership to ensure efficient and effective shared and corporate services.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive organizational transformation.
**2.**Human Resources and Talent Management**
- Oversee recruitment, development, and retention strategies to build a sustainable and engaged workforce.
- Lead succession planning and leadership development to ensure workforce continuity.
- Design and implement frameworks for performance management, learning, and people development.
- Develop employee engagement programs to foster a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Ensure alignment of HR policies with legal regulations and industry best practices.
**3.**Shared and Corporate Services (IT/Digital transformation/Communications)**
- Manage digital transformation, IT infrastructure, communications and shared administrative functions.
- Oversee digital strategy, IT and data infrastructure, ensuring technology supports organizational efficiency and maintains cybersecurity compliance.
- Operational oversight for the 3 teams under this role.
- Monitor and improve the delivery of shared services to achieve high operational standards.
**4.**Governance and Compliance**
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance and progressive practices across HR, Admin, and IT functions and aligning whole SCC policy framework.
- Establish policies and frameworks to mitigate risks and enhance governance practices.
- Collaborate with senior management and the Board of Directors to align and drive strategies with organizational objectives.
**5.**Budgeting and Reporting**
- Prepare and manage budgets for HR, IT, and guide corporate services, aligning resources with strategic priorities.
- Provide insightful reports and presentations to senior leadership and board committees to support data-driven decision-making.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, talent management, or corporate services, with 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in talent management, people development, strategy and overseeing operations.
- Proficiency in managing IT systems, cybersecurity, and administrative processes.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of translating vision into actionable strategies.
- Ability to manage operational budgets and align resources with strategic goals.
