Apac Strategic Partnership Leader

About the job:
The Red Hat Partner Ecosystem team in Asia Pacific (APAC) is looking for a Strategic Partnership Leader to join us in Singapore to lead the partnership with HPE. In this role, you will define the strategy to further develop the HPE partnership across the APAC region. You will work with Red Hat teams in the APAC countries to adapt that strategy to each country and achieve sales goals. You'll provide leadership to a team of HPE partner account managers based in the countries, as well as work closely with the global partner team and the APAC marketing, business development, and services teams. You will establish and nurture key relationships between the respective executive teams as well as key product and field associates, helping to guide the success of the partnership for both companies.
What you will do:
- Further develop and deliver the Red Hat-HPE partnership strategy and business plan including sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategies, programs, and offerings
- Build and maintain executive relationships with leaders of key HPE units; manage executive meeting frequency, e.g., quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
- Serve as a point of contact for escalations to help resolve field conflicts using network of key contacts within both companies as well as knowledge of mutual businesses
- Obtain critical consensus for Red Hat by positioning, educating, and marketing Red Hat's value proposition across the HPE partnership with both traditional solutions as well as emerging technologies, platforms, and offerings
- Lead the development and communication of the partnership performance analysis (financial performance, key metrics, and related insight)
- Work closely with in-country sales teams to guide collaboration and engagements with HPE and our joint ecosystem partners
- Attain the sales objectives set for the HPE partnership
What you will bring:
- 15+ years of sales or business development experience with an outstanding record of success
- 4+ years experience in a senior level partner or alliance sales based role
- Excellence in forecast management with demonstrated history of managing an accurate forecast in regional capacity
- Demonstrated capability in strategy and fulfillment of partner programs
- Channel sales management experience, including managing global alliance partners, preferably global hardware partners
- Experience building and managing direct and virtual teams of partner managers
- Record selling software technology platforms to APAC regional partners
- Experience in partner ecosystem leadership roles within APAC
- Good working knowledge of Red Hat's partner program and ecosystem
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a cross-functional environment
- Willingness to work across time zones and travel up to 50% of the time across the APAC region, following Red Hat’s COVID-19 guidelines
