**FIX Protocol Specialist / Engineer**

**The Role**:

- Work includes but not limited to client enablement, status reporting, and Stakeholder Management.
- Work includes but not limited to discussion and prioritization with the Stakeholders, enabling the clients for new equity markets, weekly status reporting to the Stakeholders.
- Work with the Production Support Teams in case a change leads to any issues and work on the incidence management and resolution of the issue.
- Communicate the status and progress of incidents until resolution.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis procedures to identify known errors and implement corrective actions to assist prevention of further incidents.

**Responsibilities**:
**- To provide support to FIX (Financial Information eXchange) and network connectivity issues.**
**- To enable, Configure, Test and Deploy additional services upon request.**:

- To analyse, design, configure, test and deploy solutions to specific customer requirements.
- To write and maintain implementation/technical documentation relating to the upgrading, maintenance and deployment.

Establishes working relationships with:
**- **eTrading Sales and Traders and senior stake holders in the APAC region.

**- **Application Developer and Business Analysts working across the eFX space.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant work experience of between 4 to 8 years.

**- Extensive knowledge of FIX Protocol (Financial Information eXchange) and experience in the FIX onboarding / Client Connectivity Space.**
**- Working knowledge of XML and / or UNIX.**
**- Familiar with Perl and Python.**:

- Proficiency in Requirement Gathering and interaction with the stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast pace / rapidly changing work environment.
- A team Player.
