Senior Dealer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
We are an established Bank with 8 overseas branches worldwide. Responsibilities of Money Market / Treasury Senior Dealer is not limited to co-ordinating the activities of the department and ensures that the department operates efficiently and in accordance with the Bank's policies, rules and regulations established by the MAS and Head Office. The role also include:

- Managing funding and liquidity flows through the various money market instruments and actively sought to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department processes.
- Handling all issues related to Interest Rates Products (such as Deposits / Loans) to provide funding for the Branch as well as ensuring that the Treasury Interest Rate Pricing is competitive for all currencies and manage the liquidity and price risk management for all currencies.
- Ensuring that Money Market positions are within the assigned limits as well as reviewing and tracking that the funding meets the Branch's planned numbers.
- Prepare and maintain the Daily Net Head Office Funds, Capital Funds, Adjusted Capital Funds, Liabilities Base, Minimum Liquid Assets and Minimum Cash Balance.
- Prepare and maintain daily interbank money market interest rate and daily foreign currency spot rate as well as reports for money market deals, the cash flow worksheet (for all currencies) and positions sheets.

Since the Treasury Department is responsible for the funding and profit maximisation of the branch, dealers are to manage the branch's risks in its funding, placement and borrowing activities. They are required regularly liaise and work closely with Head Office in Jakarta and other overseas branches on Treasury as well as non-Treasury related matters such as but not limited to:

- Reporting for Head Office and Indonesian Regulatory bodies;
- Business Strategic Planning including funding & budgeting;
- Handling courtesy visits from Head Office.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
In view of the need to liaise closely with Head Office and regulatory bodies of both Indonesia and Singapore, fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesian, familiar with Indonesian culture and practice in a professional working environment is a requirement. Must also keep abreast with both Indonesia and Singapore market development and activities as part of the cash flow, liquidity and forex management process. Must have comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Indonesian Financial Markets, Financial Institutions and Regulatory.

As a Treasury Senior Dealer, must be ready to cover the Head of Treasury duties in his/her absence. Execute Forex, Securities and Derivative transactions for the Department as well as monitor and manage the day to day country exposure limits (both on and off balance sheet activities) and other limits applicable for the Branch.
- Possessed Bachelor Degree in Economics / Banking / Finance.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in Treasury and exposure in Money Market, Forex and Capital Market.
- Professional conduct, strong numerical skills, ability to solve problem, strong communication skill, strong sense of teamwork and willing to work extra hours and perform ad-hoc business trip to Head Office and any region in Indonesia
- Proven record of experience in working with/for Indonesian Bank/Financial Institutions in Indonesia.
- Has a strong technical and practical knowledge in derivatives is preferred.
- Required liaising with Indonesian business counterparts and Head Office.
- Also require to handle guest from Head Office and events organised by Indonesian Embassy, Indonesian Banks in Singapore etc.
