Main Responsibilities:
The role will lead and direct the HR functions for Sinapore business reporting to Chief Human Resources & Communiations Officer, Sun Life International HuBS.
- Be the strategic partner to support CEO and the business leaders for an effective organization design and drive culture transformation.
- Work with the offshore HR teams to define and implement a structural but agile HRBP model to manage people issue, provides robust advice and support on people strategy and solve any staff related issues.
- Provide guidance, advice to business decisions impacting people, in order to maximize company performance, morale and productivity.
- Lead and facilitate the talent management agenda for leadership positions and succession planning for managment roles. Enhance staff mobility across Sun Life Singapore and cross entities and boundaries if appropriate.
- Work with HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) to cultivate development mindset and support talent on their development paths. Provide manpower / resourcing related information to and partner with Talent Acquisition team to develop proactive, diverse and effective resourcing strategies and programs to attract talent. Partnering with leadership team to build the Sun Life brand for the Singapore market.
- Instill and foster a culture of high performance, accountability and recognition. Facilitate a high performance culture in reward management and drive for differentiation.
- Build a performance-driven culture by deploying an effective performance management mechanism which helps to identify & facilitate develpment of solid performer whilst properly support the business in managing low performers.
- Drive and formulate engagement strategies / initiatives to engage and inspire employees to consistently contribute their best. Work with business leaders to drive employee engament level across the organization.
- Cultivate and facilitate a “people culture” by creating a highly engaged organization with various staff engagement programs that help fostering the engagement level.
- Be the HR lead to drive strategic projects such as Target Operating Model, partnership alliances and compliance / legal & regulatory related topics. Facilitate and advise on change management and transformation programs.
- Prepare management reporting and analytical tools for various purposes and continue to improve efficiency, productivity and control expenses, through technology and various digtial tools.
- Oversee the day-to-day HR operations and manage the HR vendor performance.
- Be the champion of HR risk & governance to ensure full HR compliance.

Job Requirements:

- University degree, preferably in business related discipline or psychology
- Minimum 10+ years relevant Human Resources experience preferably gained in financial industry with hands on experience in business advisory
- Leadership presence with strong prioritization skills
- Ability to engage stakeholders at senior level and strong communication and influencing skills
- Being passionate, agile and tenacious
