The **_Field Applications Specialist _**is responsible for supporting the Customer, Account Manager, Workflow Specialist, and core commercial team. Provides deep scientific knowledge in the customer context, including tests and demos to prove competitive advantage.

This position reports to the _Senior Sale Manager - Bioprocess and Genomic Medicine in ASEAN_ and is part of the _Gen Med ASEAN Team_ located in _Singapore _and will be working remotely to cover _ASEAN. _At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**What you will do**:

- Applies highest level of scientific and technical product knowledge in modality, including solution impact, capabilities and functions within context of Cytiva customers.
- Supports customers with in-depth technical support, remotely, in person or in the lab. Conducting demos or experiments for or with the customer. Following up on samples with technical advice and/or experimental support.

**Who you are**:

- Cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management. Understanding of customers’ key business drivers.
- Insight with networks and contacts.
- Comprehensive Cell Therapy, Viral Vector or nucleic acid process (upstream/downstream) expertise.
- Bachelor’s Degree in biotechnology, life sciences or relevant field. Preferably in cell biology, biochemistry, and immunology

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**: _if applicable for role_
- _ Ability to travel - 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations_
- _ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to ##lb, any other physical requirements_

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- QlikSense or Sales Force
