**Job Qualifications**: - Min. 5-year relevant workshop experience dealing with continental vehicles - Familiar with continental vehicles & petrol engines will be an added advantage. - Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems. - Good hand-eye coordination. - Good interpersonal and communication skills - Bilingual (Mandarin and English) - Able to use diagnostic tool - Automotive and engine repair experience. - Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service. - Must read, interpret and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records. - Perform routine maintenance and other tasks in a fast-paced environment. - May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs. - Experience as a lube technician, or prepared to do on-the-job training. - Ability to use the diagnostic equipment. - Experience with heavy equipment and as a diesel mechanic, diesel engine knowledge, or prepared to do on-the-job training. - Proven track record in automobile sales - Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team **Responsibilities**: - To perform general vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting - Able to understand basic to intermediate wiring diagrams and able to carry out wire checks and tracing. - Carry out engine overhaul and undercarriage repairs. - Able to make preventive recommendations for vehicles. - Ensure that all work orders assigned are carried out according to the schedule - In Charge of Vehicle movement and parking. - Diligently practices proper housekeeping. - Hands-on repair for continental cars and other brands - Perform repair work accordingly with manufacturer guidelines - Observe regular house-keeping rules of work area to ensure safety and cleanliness in the working environment - Comply with rules, regulations, and policies guidelines - Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles. - Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment. - Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service. - Plan repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. - Test the functionality of parts and systems - Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation. - Responsible for troubleshooting and carrying out diagnostic works on issues highlighted by customers, ensuring and cultivating a "fix it right first time" for all assigned vehicles - Supervise and ensure workshop productivity in addition to excellent cost management skills - Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or enhance existing work procedures and practices - Evaluate all maintenance work to ensure that work is performed within established time frames - Assess the impact of delays, interruptions, or changes in plans and implement appropriate courses of action to minimize issues. - Responsible to ensure the utilization of all assets for the repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles - Planning and execution of jobs and to ensure that jobs are carried out safely and efficiently and to achieve maximum production and workshop targets. - Supervise and perform skilled operations in the repair and overhaul of motor vehicles - Ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to a high standard, and supervises and assists the mechanics - Check the activities in the workshop, inspect completed work for compliance with safety and other statutory regulations, and make sure defects are repaired - To document and record meticulously all diagnostic jobs assigned - Manage overall staff schedules and deployment to support workshop operations - Report to MD on all workshop matters and operations
