He / she does this through independent primary research. He/she is also expected to communicate regularly and collaborate with in-country Sales teams to gather information and draw pertinent conclusions of such information.

He / she will enhance collaboration across offices through regular sharing and strategy planning sessions, and seek to provide in-depth independent perspectives and critical insights of the business landscape to management and the regional sales team in a timely manner.

He/she coordinates with International Sales Strategy team to align long term market view and strategies and to share relevant information with the region’s sales teams as well as support the development of in-country strategy and action plans and the formulation of the regional long-term strategy.

**Area of Responsibility**

**Marketing research and analysis**
- Conduct desk research based on defined scope of assigned research projects in ASEAN countries, OCEANIA and Bangladesh
- Collect, validate and organize data (customer, competitor, market, economic financial and operational)
- Identify white spaces and key trends over time through research and market intelligence
- Conduct data analysis and chart findings
- Prepare and conduct presentations to internal stakeholders (including senior management)
- Structure and maintain information database
- Support evaluation of identified companies / peers
- Support collaboration activities of AP Marketing department
- Support Sales team’s requests for research of customers, competitors and policies as and when required

**Education level and/or relevant experience(s)**
- Degree in Business or Engineering or relevant field
- 5-8 years’ experience with strategy
- Domain knowledge in power generation or energy industry (preferred)

**Knowledge and skills**
- Advanced level of skills with PowerPoint, Excel (including pivot tables and modelling)
- Excellent critical thinking, time management and organizational skills
- Analytical and numerical competencies - High aptitude for quantitative analysis and modelling
- Attention to details

**Other requirements**
- Storyboarding and reporting/presentation
- Domain knowledge (preferred) in any of the following: power markets, policy and regulations, management of consultancy providers, power modeling/ economics
- Experience working with leadership team across multiple functions
- Knowledge of strategy tools and familiar with research process / framework
