**Roles & Responsibilities**
**1. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
**1.1 **Educational qualifications**
- Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience or Bachelor Degree with at least 13 years' experience in academic management and operation
**1.2 **Experience that is relevant experience to the position**
- At least ten years in academic management and operation.
- Experience in negotiating academic matters with other academic institutions.
- Have some years of administrative experience at a senior level in an educational institute in Singapore.
- A demonstrated ability to manage both academic and administrative staff.
- Demonstrated experience in the development of academic programmes to the highest standards including curriculum development and management.
- Experience in student administration, the selection and enrolment of students, and the provision of administrative support to courses offered at the post-secondary and tertiary levels.
- Experience in negotiating with academic staff and senior management for the delivery of efficient and effective academic administrative services.
- Experience in negotiating with other international academic institutions for the delivery of courses and the development of partnership arrangements.
**1.3 **Skills**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Capacity to analyse data and write reports based upon statistical information.
- Experience in writing professional papers and reports for the consideration of committees and to prepare academic administrative procedures.
- Experience in writing policies and regulations that govern academic administration to ensure that due process is followed.
- Experience in developing position descriptions for positions within the Academic Division.
**2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
Providing strategic leadership and administrative management of the implementation of the college’s academic strategy and policy, including fostering strategic change and development in programmes, teaching, learning and student affairs. The Senior Programme Director also assist the management with the alignment of academic activities to achieve the relevant outcomes specified in the Strategic Plan. In addition, the Senior Programme Director involve in facilitating, assessing and reporting faculty progress against strategic goals and operational plans in teaching and learning, assessment, quality assurance and student affairs
