DESIGNATION : Manager, Employability & Student Affairs
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Manager, Employability & Student Affairs**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Effectively manage employers/industry partners’ in various recruitment engagements including to source and onboard them in hiring Kaplan’s graduates/Alumni.
- Nurture and develop business relationships with employers and industry partners.
- Work towards securing jobs for graduates/Alumni to improve on employability outcomes - working for example with recruitment agencies, corporate agencies, ambassies etc
- Supervise Asst. Manager who will be under the purview of this person
- Develop, maintain, and upkeep list of employers and industry partners’ profile and data
- Conceptualise, manage and executive projects, programmes or events to boost employability for students/Alumni which would include careers fairs, career seminars and recruitment events
- Engage employers, industry experts (including IAB members), C Suite executives to offer industry talks, master classes and industry visits
- Develop suitable marketing strategies and campaigns to increase employers’ awareness of our graduates’ disciplines and competencies
- Coach, guide and groom students/Alumni to enter the workforce confidently
- Work, market and create awareness of employability efforts within and with external stakeholders with relevant analysis of data.
- Work towards achieving department goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
**Job Requirements**
- A degree in any discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Has a good understanding of industry’s hiring needs and its demands in talent development
- Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders
- Has good interpersonal skills
- Enjoys coaching and interacting with others in the aim of grooming or building on their strengths
- Good people management skills with an eye for detail
- A proven track record in managing teams
- Enthusiastic and having a student centric mindset is necessary.
- As experience working with students or volunteers in programmes or activities
- Experience in collaborating with different levels of stakeholders
- Enjoys coaching and interacting with team members in the aim of grooming or building on their strengths
- Has a flair to creative work and designing, conceptualizing programs, events, or activities etc.
- Possess excellent writing and communications skills, meticulous and critical thinking skills
