**Duties**:

- Serve as principal advisor to the Market Director and staff and manages the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management (EODM) program.
- Brief Market Director and senior staff to resolve identified problems on a case-by-case basis, or as needed to discuss controversial or unprecedented EEO program matters.
- Establish Special Emphasis Program (SEP) committees in accordance with Federal laws, regulations and policies.
- Maintain liaison and consult with program officials at DHA, EODM, DoD; OPM; EEOC; private and public agencies, and organizations on matters related to EEO civil rights, and special emphasis programs.
- Establish and manage the EEO complaint program and provides oversight to assigned MTFs.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

- **Specialized Experience**: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in the development of Equal Employment Opportunity programs; developing and/or implementing EEO policies; and processing reasonable accommodations requests. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
- Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
