**Description**
- Work closely with business users in business process improvement to align with business and project objectives and bridge the gaps between business users and the technical solution team.
- Bridge the gaps between business and IT; you will be the key person to clearly articulate the business requirements to the technical team and technical proposition to the business context.
- Facilitate workshops, such as requirement gathering, clarification, gap analysis, test planning, deployment etc., with users, vendors & IT team
- Work closely with vendor and solution architects to ensure the right implementation of IT solutions to meet the business needs.
- Review and critique vendors’ and in-house team deliverables and offer conclusion to Business Analyst Manager and/or Delivery manager.
- Develop and deliver project documentation, including requirements traceability matrix, functional requirement specification and test plan.
- Perform functional testing of systems before releasing to business users for acceptance test.
- Participate, facilitate and support UAT activities such as testing, tracking, resolution, and closure
- Conduct user training for new systems rollout or major enhancements

**Qualifications**
- Min 2 to 3 years of experience in the role of Business analyst, preferably in the insurance domain with experience in writing Business Requirements and Functional Specifications
- Proven track records of successful implementation of projects
- Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent
- LOMA / Diploma in Life Insurance will be an advantage
- Prior experience in the insurance/ finance sector will be an advantage
- Any Business Analysis Certification/ Tester Certification will be an advantage
- Strong business analytical skills with demonstrated ability to extensively analyse business requirements related to insurance products
- Possesses excellent facilitating skills in managing workshops and focus groups with strong business and vendor engagement skills
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to turn complex concepts into actionable recommendations for decisions.
- Able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines on several initiatives simultaneously
