**Responsibilities**:

- Keep abreast of developments in the local/head office regulatory environment and monitor the bank’s compliance with the requirements, and perform gap assessment where necessary;
- Assist in the attending to and preparing reporting/replies to Head Office’s queries and circulars and local management on compliance/AML related matters;
- Assist in the review of customer due diligence performed by business units;
- Manage AML name screening and assessment of screening alerts;
- Assist in implementing post-transaction monitoring measures and framework;
- Investigate escalated suspicious transactions and prepare appropriate results & reporting;
- Assist in facilitating regulatory compliance and/or AML/CFT awareness training/sharing session;
- Conduct compliance testing on AML/CFT/compliance measures;
- Assist in the execution of AML/CFT enterprise risk assessment exercise;
- Assist in implementing AML/compliance-related policies and procedures;
- Assist in updating relevant policies and procedures pertaining to regulatory compliance and AML/CFT;
- Assist in providing advisory & participate in discussion on AML/CFT/compliance matters;
- Assist in the remediation and/or follow up on regulatory compliance / AML/CFT-related control deficiencies (if any) identified by the regulatory authority and auditors;
- Report to Head of Compliance and undertake any other additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Head of Compliance, when required.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a Diploma/Degree with min 3 years of banking experience in AML/compliance function within a corporate banking environment
- Knowledge of MAS requirements and industry practices on AML/CFT and/or compliance matters;
- Self-motivated, meticulous and able to multi-task/work independently;
- Effectively bilingual in both spoken and written English and Chinese as the incumbent is required to communicate and correspond with Chinese colleagues and help in preparing documentation in Chinese.
