Assistant Manager, Data Center Critical Facilities
**Job Summary**:
Responsible for supporting the management of critical data center facilities, ensuring operational excellence and reliability through effective maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.

**Responsibilities**

**Management**
- Ensures the team is carrying out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing according to schedule.
- Manages the critical facilities team in the data center.
- Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance activities.

**Project / Infrastructure Site Management**
- Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data centers.
- Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan.
- Provides input and guidance towards budget.
- Overall site capacity supervision.

**Vendor Management**
- Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards.

**Testing**
- Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems

**Incident Management**
- Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident

**Educational Background & Years of Experience**

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or equivalent work experience required

Minimum of 5 years of related work experience preferred
