The mission for the APAC Retail Training & Advocacy Lead is to collaborate with the Global Retail Training & Advocacy Team, local Retail Training Leads, as well as, Channels Sales and Activations counterparts, to create, lead, and manage retail training initiatives for our client in APAC. Our client is one of the largest technology companies in the world. This role will work directly for our client on a retained basis to take ownership of the localisation and implementation of globally developed training initiatives for the various APAC markets (AU, JP, SG, TW, KR, IN) and also be responsible for the planning and development of any regionally-led training initiatives.
**Role responsibilities**:
- Executing on global retail training strategy provided by the Global Retail Training and Advocacy team.
- Define the APAC retail training strategy and ensure it aligns with both global and local training priorities.
- Responsible for the development and execution of regionally-led training initiatives.
- Partner with Channel Sales and Activation regional and country leads to get a better understanding of the training needs in the field and align on local training plans to achieve business goals.
- Proactively adjust and enhance training initiatives as needed.
- Establish yourself as the main point of contact for both local and global training POCs by building strong rapport with all stakeholders.
- Manage the localisation of all globally provided training content for all APAC markets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, internal communications and projects, and work with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across the business of any training initiative.
- Responsible for the publishing of all APAC training materials on the LMS and liaising with the various stakeholders involved in the publishing process.
- Managing all legal reviews and ad-hoc brand reviews where necessary.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop training performance indicators (quantitative and qualitative, long and short term), and measure the efficiency of training through regular follow up.
- Maintain detailed reporting of all training activities and initiatives monitoring the efficiency of training and achievements.
**Skills**:
- Minimum of 4-6 years experience in retail training or sales enablement
- Strategic agility and long term vision
- Proactive, persuasive and creative
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong collaborator and team player
- Knowledge of and ease with digital learning (platforms usage fluence, engagement expertise)
- Solution oriented approach
- Selling experience / skills is a plus
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage senior level stakeholder expectations
