**Job Summary**:
This position is responsible for quality, safety, health, and environmental programs and their related activities. The QHSE Engineer will ensure compliance with all established QMS & HSE programs and maintain compliance with location, industrial, and Flowserve standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage quality, safety, health & environmental activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation, and direction of Quality & HSE committee.
- Manage QMS and HSE management system within the organization.
- Ensure QMS & HSE certification are up to date.
- Assist in preparation of Quality & HSE internal and external audits and MR review.
- Conduct a rigorous incident investigation process focused on prevention, root cause analysis, and injury prevention leading indicators.
- Coordinate QHSE meetings, training programs, and inspections for all employees.
- Manage Quality and HSE equipment, ensure all equipment is calibrated, inspected, in good working condition, and comply with QHSE requirements.
- Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety Training.
- Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and/or illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in the development of effective health and safety countermeasures to continuously improve safety objectives.
- Serve as secretary on the Quality, HSE Committee and help coordinate activities, recommendations, and accountability of issues identified by safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits.
- Conduct monthly workplace safety audits and establish measurable standards from which further recommendations (continuous improvement) can be made, with effective follow-up.
- Coordinate emergency evacuation procedures, training, and practice drills.
- Manage and ensure all hazardous and non-hazardous waste, IHM, environmental reports are submitted accurately and on time pertaining to air, stormwater, and sanitary sewer discharge permits.
- Assist site HSE safety observation and best practice management program.
- Perform any other duties assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Experience within Quality & Health, Safety, and Environmental-related matters.
- Experience with Workman’s Compensation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- BS or BA Degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional computer skills.

**Preferred Skills/Experience**:

- Strong oral, written, and organizational skills.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
